Directions

3. Add the frozen berries, milk, chia seeds, and blend again.

Directions

1. Mix blueberries, sugar, lemon juice, mint, and 1 1/3 cups water in a medium saucepan.

2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until blueberries begin to pop, 8 to 10 minutes; let cool. Discard mint.

3. Transfer mixture to VENTRAY Blender and process until smooth.

4. Strain mixture through a wire-mesh strainer into a pitcher.

5. Stir in whiskey or mezcal, if desired.

Mulled Pomegranate-Cherry Juice

Ingredients

  • 2 oranges
  • 6 allspice berries
  • 4 star anise pods
  • 1 tsp. coriander seeds
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3/4 c. honey
  • 2 c. black cherry juice
  • 1 qt. pomegranate juice
  • 2 c. mixed berries

Directions

  1. Remove the peels from the oranges with a vegetable peeler.
  2. Squeeze the orange juice with Ventray Masticating Juicer.
  3. Put the peels in a saucepan and add the allspice berries, star anise pods, coriander seeds, bay leaf, and honey.
  4. Add the freshly squeezed orange juice, the black cherry juice, and pomegranate juice and bring to a simmer.
  5. Let the mixture simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the orange peels and spices with a slotted spoon.
  7. Stir the mixed berries into the mulled juice and ladle into mugs.

Directions
