Stuffed Mushrooms Thanksgiving Side Dish

Easy Holiday dinner delicious appetizer that your guest just can’t stop eating! Double the ingredients to make more.


  • 4 stripes of bacon
  • 8 large mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 3 oz blue cheese
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs


  1. Cook bacon strips in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp, drain grease with paper towels.
  2. Remove stems from mushrooms, chop stems.
  3. In skillet of bacon grease, stir in mushroom stems, diced onion and garlic. Cook until onions are caramelized.
  4. In Ventray stand mixer, add in all ingredients, mix over medium speed until all ingredients are evenly combined
  5. Stuff cheese mixture into mushroom caps and place on prepared baking dish.

Oven Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F, spray baking dish
  2. Bake in preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
