Red Wine BBQ Sauce

Nothing says summer then the mouth-watering smell of a great BBQ sauce


  • 200ml red wine
  • 4 tbsp organic honey
  • 140g sugar
  • 400ml soy sauce
  • 120g diced apples
  • 120g diced onion
  • 4 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp minced ginger
  • 4 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 tp roasted sesame
  • 2 tbsp paprika


  1. In a sauce pan, heat wine and honey, add and stir in sugar until it dissolves
  2. Pour sauce mixture into Ventray Pro600 Blender, add in rest of all the ingredients
  3. Blend using soup setting or medium power until preferred consistency reached
  4. BBQ sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in air tight container for up to a week in your fridge
