Back to School Granola Bar

Prep your kid with everything they need for back to school, including a healthy snack.


  • 4 cups of oats
  • 1 ½ cups honey
  • ½ cup dark brown sugar
  • ¼ cup salted butter
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • ½ cup mixed nuts
  • 2 cup dried mixed berries
  • ½ cup pumpkin saeed


  1. Take out the baked oats, set aside.
  2. Combine honey, brown sugar, vanilla, and butter in a small saucepan, bring it to boil stirring occasionally until well combined.
  3. Add all dry ingredients into Ventray Stand Mixer bowl, beat with a flat beater until well mixed.
  4. Beat at a low speed, slowly pour in the honey mixture, blend and mix well.
  5. Spread into greased baking pan, press to an even layer

Oven Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180c, spread and bake oats for 10-12mins
  2. Preheat oven to 160c.
  3. Bake for about 25mins or until slightly browned. Cool completely in pan or wire rack before cutting into bars
  4. Melt a cup of chocolate, drizzle over granola bar and serve.
