Classic Pancakes

The best pancake recipe for a perfect weekend brunch


  • 1½ cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3½ tsp of baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp of white sugar
  • 1¼ cup of milk
  • 3 tbsp of butter, melted
  • 1 large egg


  1. In Ventray Stand Mixer‘s mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar. Make a well in centre, then pour in milk, egg, melted butter
  2. Using flat beater, at speed 2, mix until batter becomes completely smooth
  3. Heat and oil the griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat
  4. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, brown both sides


Approximately ¼ cup of flour for each pancake.
