Chocolate Waffles

No longer need to visit any resturant for these amazing chocolate waffle- better than EGGO

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tsp instant coffee powder
  • 3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter softened

Dizzle syrup onto a perfectly cooked chocolate waffle with butter on top. Spread Nutella, whip cream, and some fresh fruit. This is the perfect weekend breakfast. And now you can make these while WFH.

Directions

  1. Preheat your waffle maker, brush both sides with oil
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, salt, instant coffee
  3. In Ventray Stand Mixer, whisk using medium low speed, eggs, butter, milk into smooth mixture
  4. Add in dry ingredients mix until just combined
  5. Pour batter into waffle iron, cook until ready
  6. Serve waffle with confectioners’ sugar, butter, and topping of your choice
