  1. Cream together butter, white sugar, brown sugar, at speed 2, then increase to speed 3, mix until smooth
  2. Beat in eggs one at a time, then increase to speed 3 beat for 1 minute
  3. Stir in vanilla, beat for 30 seconds
  4. Meanwhile, dissolve baking soda in hot water, add to batter, then add in salt, beat for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in sifted flour, chocolate chip, nuts and using speed 4 to beat until well mixed

Oven Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F
  2. Using ice cream scoop, drop large scoops onto lightly greased baking pan
  3. Bake in oven for 10 minutes or until edges are nicely browned
