Braised Red Cabbage

Sweet and tangy, braised red cabbage is a colorful and flavorful side dish that pairs beautifully with your feast, adding a burst of festive color.


  • 1 red cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cloves (optional)
