Basic Baby Food- Apple Puree

An apple a day keep the pediatrician away

  • ½ cup water
  • 3 medium sized apples (red, golden, delicious)
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon (optional)

You should always select fresh organic apples when preparing baby food. Make sure you minimize cooking time to help preserve vitamins and nutrients in the apple.

You can always make more apple sauce and store them in a BPA-free container. Usually, apple sauce can store up to 3 days in a fridge and 2 months in a freezer.

Always check with your pediatrician before introducing new food to your baby and make sure they have no food allergies.

  1. Wash, peel, core, and chop the apple into 1 inch chunks
  2. Cook all ingredients in a medium saucepan, reduce heat after boiling and simmer for about 10 minutes; or until apples are tender
  3. Transfer all ingredients into Ventray Blender, then puree until it reaches the desired consistency for your baby
